1. (1) These rules establish procedures the Washington state criminal justice training commission will follow to provide full access to public records. These rules:

   1. (a) Provide information to persons wishing to request commission public records; and
   2. (b) Establish processes for both requestors and commission staff to fully assist the public in obtaining such access.
2. (2) In carrying out its public records responsibilities the commission will be guided by the provisions of chapter 42.56 RCW, the Public Records Act.
