The department will review applications and determine if the child or youth and applicant meet the eligibility requirements. If the eligibility requirements are met, the department must:

1. (1) Provide the applicant with the application and worksheet used to negotiate the amount of GAP subsidy;
2. (2) Verify the eligibility criteria in WAC 110-85-0050 continues to be met;
3. (3) Negotiate the GAP cash payment amount with the applicant;
4. (4) Complete the GAP agreement and request the applicant's signature on the agreement; and
5. (5) Provide a copy of the signed agreement to the applicant.
