1. (1) The department:

   1. (a) May conduct investigations on caregiver reimbursement program claims; and
   2. (b) Has the authority to have an inspector of its choice make a damage estimate when, and as often, as the department may require.
2. (2) Caregivers must allow the department to inspect the damaged property when requested.
