Caregivers must complete the following when children or youth are missing from their care:

1. (1) Notify the following immediately, but not more than 24 hours, when children or youth run away while in their care:

   1. (a) Law enforcement;
   2. (b) Tribal law enforcement for Indian children or youth;
   3. (c) National center for missing and exploited children at 1- 800-843-5678; and
   4. (d) Child's or youth's caseworker; or
   5. (e) Intake, if the child's or youth's caseworker cannot be contacted directly or it is after normal business hours;

2. (2) Provide the national center for missing and exploited children and law enforcement the following, when reasonably possible, no later than 24 hours of notification that the child or youth is missing from care:

   1. (a) A recent photo of the child or youth;

   2. (b) A description of the child's or youth's physical features, including:

      1. (i) Height;
      2. (ii) Weight;
      3. (iii) Gender;
      4. (iv) Ethnicity;
      5. (v) Race;
      6. (vi) Hair color; and
      7. (vii) Eye color; and

   3. (c) Endangerment information, if applicable, including the child's or youth's:

      1. (i) Pregnancy status;
      2. (ii) Prescription medications;
      3. (iii) Suicidal tendencies;
      4. (iv) Vulnerability to being sex trafficked; and
      5. (v) Other health or risk factors;
3. (3) Not provide the national center for missing and exploited children consent to release children and youth information under subsection (2)(c) of this section; and

4. (4) At any time after making an initial report the caregiver learns of a missing child's or youth's whereabouts or they return home, caregivers must report this to the:

   1. (a) Caseworker; or
   2. (b) Intake.
