Caregivers must meet the following sleeping arrangement conditions based on children's or youth's ages, development, and specific needs:

1. (1) Children under 12 months old must have a safe sleeping space that meets the infant safe sleep requirements, which includes bassinets, Native American cradle boards and moss bags, portable cribs, or cribs. Cribs must comply with:

   1. (a) Chapter 70.111 RCW; and
   2. (b) 16 C.F.R. 1219 or 1220; and
2. (2) Children and youth older than 12 months must have their own safe sleeping space with bedding, unless other arrangements have been approved by their caseworker.
