RPSs must develop and follow mental health awareness and suicide prevention policies and procedures approved by the department that document the following:

1. (1) The mental health resources available on-site;
2. (2) How to access mental health resources in the community;
3. (3) Instructions on how RPSs will respond to residential students exhibiting mental health concerns;
4. (4) Emergency protocol and contacts; and

5. (5) Training requirements for personnel, including:

   1. (a) Suicide prevention; and
   2. (b) Suicide risk assessment tool training.
