1. (1) RPSs must:

   1. (a) Provide each residential student with privacy regarding:

      1. (i) Sleeping areas;
      2. (ii) Toileting;
      3. (iii) Bathing;
      4. (iv) Personal mail;
      5. (v) Electronic messages;
      6. (vi) Online communications;
      7. (vii) Phone calls; and

      8. (viii) Access to:

         1. (A) Parents;
         2. (B) Guardians;
         3. (C) Medical and community providers;
         4. (D) End harm line; and
         5. (E) Law enforcement; and
   2. (b) Prohibit video and audio monitoring of residential students in their bathing, toileting, and sleeping areas.

2. (2) RPSs may monitor the following as required by residential students' parents or guardians in writing, court order, or for students' health, safety, and well-being:

   1. (a) Personal mail;
   2. (b) Electronic messages;
   3. (c) Online communications; and
   4. (d) Phone calls.
