Licensees must install and maintain carbon monoxide alarms that comply with UL 2034:

1. (1) In or near each separate sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms;
2. (2) On each story of the facility; and
3. (3) Per NFPA 72 and the manufacturer's instructions.
