RCW 84.14.015 — Transit-oriented development—Application standards.

The governing authority of a city with a station area must adopt and implement standards and guidelines to be used in considering applications and making the determinations required under RCW 84.14.060. The standards and guidelines must establish basic requirements for both new construction and rehabilitation, which must include:

1. (1) Application process and procedures;
2. (2) Income and rent standards for affordable units that meet the requirements of RCW 36.70A.840(7)(a);
3. (3) Requirements that address demolition of existing structures and site utilization; and
4. (4) Building requirements that comply with chapter 267, Laws of 2025.
