This chapter does not apply to the following residential facilities:

1. (1) Nursing homes licensed under chapter 18.51 RCW;
2. (2) Assisted living facilities licensed under chapter 18.20 RCW;
3. (3) Adult family homes licensed under chapter 70.128 RCW;
4. (4) Facilities approved and certified under chapter 71A.22 RCW;
5. (5) Residential treatment facilities licensed under chapter 71.12 RCW; and
6. (6) Hospitals licensed under chapter 70.41 RCW.
