1. A. The vendor shall inform the department's inspector as soon as practicable, but not to exceed one business day, of the following:

   1. 1. The death of a child while under the vendor's supervision;
   2. 2. A missing child when local authorities have been contacted for help; and
   3. 3. The suspension or termination of all child care services for more than 24 hours as a result of an emergency situation and any plans to resume child care.
2. B. The vendor shall inform the department's representative as soon as practicable, but no more than two business days, of any injury to a child while under the vendor's supervision when a referral is made for treatment from a medical professional.
3. C. Any suspected incident of child abuse or neglect shall be reported in accordance with § 63.2-1509 of the Code of Virginia.
