1. A. Transportation provided for or used by students shall comply with local, state, and federal laws relating to:

   1. 1. Vehicle safety and maintenance;
   2. 2. Licensure of vehicles;
   3. 3. Licensure of drivers;
   4. 4. Child passenger safety, including requiring children to wear appropriate seat belts or restraints for the vehicle in which they are being transported;
   5. 5. Vehicle liability insurance; and
   6. 6. Safety measures that take into consideration the age and disabling conditions of students.
2. B. All vehicles used to transport students to school activities shall be equipped with first aid kits, a fire extinguisher, and two-way communication devices.
3. C. Individual student emergency information including currently prescribed and over-the-counter medications, significant medical problems, and any allergies shall accompany students when they are being transported.
