1. 1. Earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and graduated from an approved teacher preparation program in engineering;
2. 2. Earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and completed a major in engineering or an engineering subspecialty in an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)-accredited college or university program;

3. 3. Earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and completed an engineering technology, science, or technology education major with at least 12 semester hours of coursework in engineering courses, including:

   1. a. Introduction to engineering design;
   2. b. Statics or dynamics;
   3. c. Circuits or fluid mechanics; and
   4. d. Thermodynamics;
4. 4. Earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and completed a science, mathematics, or technology education major with at least five years of successful full-time experience working in an engineering environment; or
5. 5. Earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and hold a professional engineer's (P.E.) license.
