1. A. The owner of the displaced entity will prepare an inventory of the items to be actually moved. The inventory will be certified as true and correct as of a specific date by the person making it, as well as the owner of the business. The inventory will be provided to the district office along with the moving cost application, Library Form RW-60B.

2. B. The inventory will be checked against VDOT's approved appraisal for the real estate to preclude the possibility of paying to move items which have been classified as real estate. This inventory will also be furnished to all interested bidders in order to ensure that all bids are based on moving the same personal property.

   In a complex or expensive move the assigned relocation agent will visually confirm the accuracy of the inventory as an element of monitoring the move.
