1. A. Transportation provided for or used by children shall comply with local, state, and federal laws relating to:

   1. 1. Vehicle safety and maintenance;

   2. 2. Licensure of vehicles;

      3.Licensure of drivers; and

   3. 4. Child passenger safety, including requiring children to wear appropriate seat belts or restraints for the vehicle in which they are being transported.
2. B. There shall be written safety rules for transportation of residents appropriate to the population served that shall include taking head counts at each stop.
3. C. The provider shall develop and implement written safety rules for use and maintenance of vehicles and power equipment.
