Floors, walls, and ceilings, utility lines.

Effective Oct 16, 2007Virginia Register Volume 24, Issue 2§ 3.2-5121 of the Code of Virginia.Department of Agriculture And Consumer Services

A. Utility service lines and pipes may not be unnecessarily exposed.
B. Exposed utility service lines and pipes shall be installed so they do not obstruct or prevent cleaning of the floors, walls, or ceilings.
C. Exposed horizontal utility service lines and pipes may not be installed on the floor.
