1. A. A project designer refresher training program must be one day. The project designer refresher training program must review federal and state regulations, discuss changes to the regulations, if applicable, and review developments in state-of-the-art procedures. A review of the following topics from the initial project designer training program must be included in the accredited asbestos project designer refresher training program:

   1. 1. Safety system design specifications;
   2. 2. Writing abatement specifications; and
   3. 3. Employee personal protective equipment.
2. B. A written closed-book examination will be administered covering the topics included in the asbestos project designer refresher training program. The examination will consist of no fewer than 50 questions. The passing score will be 70% correct. Persons who pass the asbestos project designer refresher training program will receive a certificate of completion as specified in this chapter.
