12 Va. Admin. Code § 5-421-3180

Cleaning, frequency and restrictions.

Effective Jan 1, 2010Virginia Register Volume 26, Issue 7§§ 35.1-11 and 35.1-14 of the Code of Virginia.Department of Health

A. The physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean.
B. Except for cleaning that is necessary due to a spill or other accident, cleaning shall be done during periods when the least amount of food is exposed such as after closing.
