1. A. As used in this section, "informational one-sheet" means a single-page document detailing relevant information and key points on a single topic developed and disseminated for the purpose of providing information to a specific group of individuals.

2. B. The Department shall, in collaboration with the Department of Health, develop a fentanyl education and awareness informational one-sheet designed to promote awareness of the dangers associated with and the prevalence of fentanyl and provide essential information on fentanyl overdose prevention and preparedness among high school-age students. Such informational one-sheet shall include information on:

   1. 1. The dangers associated with fentanyl;
   2. 2. The prevalence of fentanyl and how to identify and avoid it;
   3. 3. Overdose prevention and preparedness, including the signs and symptoms of fentanyl overdose and how to report a fentanyl overdose;
   4. 4. Resources for students in the event that any student needs or knows someone who needs help with substance use disorder or is in danger of a fentanyl overdose; and
   5. 5. Statistics relating to fentanyl prevalence, fentanyl use, health risks associated with fentanyl use, and fentanyl overdoses, including overdoses that were successfully reversed and deaths associated with fentanyl overdoses, in the Commonwealth.
3. C. The Department shall make available to each school board and shall post in a publicly accessible location on its website such fentanyl educational and awareness informational one-sheet developed in accordance with subsection B. The Department, in collaboration with the Department of Health, shall annually review such informational one-sheet and update it as necessary to ensure its currency and accuracy.
4. D. Each public high school or secondary school that includes grades nine through 12 shall annually distribute such fentanyl education and awareness informational one-sheet to each student in grades nine through 12 within the first two weeks of the school year.
