1. (1) Financial responsibility for a child placed under the provisions of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children shall, in the first instance, be determined in accordance with the provisions of Article V of the compact.
2. (2) In the event of partial or complete default of performance under the compact, the provisions of Title 81, Chapter 6, Child Support, and Title 81, Chapter 7, Payment and Enforcement of Spousal and Child Support, may also be invoked.
