1. (1) The office, in consultation with relevant state agencies, may discuss with the United States Department of Energy the potential for the state to host a campus as described in the January 28, 2026, Request for Information issued by the United States Department of Energy, entitled "Request for Information on Establishment of Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses."

2. (2) The scope of the campus may include:

   1. (a) facilities for fuel fabrication, uranium conversion and enrichment, and the reprocessing of used nuclear fuel;
   2. (b) deployment of advanced modular reactors and micro-reactors;
   3. (c) development of secure, long-term pathways for used nuclear material consistent with national security and environmental safety standards; and
   4. (d) co-located users and providers of campus products, such as isotopes, heat, or nuclear supply chain manufacturing.
