As used in this part:

1. (1) "Division" means the Division of Law Enforcement.
2. (2) "Law enforcement officer" means the same as that term is defined in Section 53-13-103.

3. (3)

   1. (a) "Natural resources officer" means a full-time, permanent employee of the division who is POST certified as a peace officer.
   2. (b) "Natural resources officer" includes a wildlife officer, as that term is defined in Section 23A-2-502.
4. (4) "Peace officer" means any officer certified in accordance with Title 53, Chapter 13, Peace Officer Classifications.
