1. (1) "Atlas" means a depository of geological data maintained in accordance with Part 5, Critical Minerals Atlas.
2. (2) "Center" means the Minerals for Industrial, National, and Economic Security Center created in accordance with Part 6, Minerals for Industrial, National, and Economic Security Center.
3. (3) "Council" means the Critical Minerals Council created in Section 79-10-301.
4. (4) "Critical mineral" means a mineral identified by the United States Geological Survey or the council as essential to the economic security of the state or national security.
5. (5) "Critical minerals zone" means a critical minerals zone designated by the council under Part 4, Critical Minerals Zone.

6. (6) "Permit" means one of the following issued by a state agency:

   1. (a) a permit;
   2. (b) a plan;
   3. (c) a license;
   4. (d) an approval order; or
   5. (e) another administrative authorization.
