1. (1) The department shall annually prepare and publish a report directed to the governor, the Legislature, the commission, and the Judicial Council.

2. (2) The report shall describe how:

   1. (a) the commission fulfilled the commission's statutory purposes and duties during the year; and
   2. (b) the department fulfilled the department's statutory purposes and duties during the year.
