1. (1) At least annually, a recipient of a grant under this part shall provide a report to the department and the relevant public transit district.

2. (2) The report described in Subsection (1) shall include:

   1. (a) the amount of money provided through the grant;
   2. (b) an accounting of how the grant money has been utilized;
   3. (c) the type of services provided;
   4. (d) coordination with existing public transit services;

   5. (e) ridership data relevant to the innovative public transit service, including:

      1. (i) the number of riders; and
      2. (ii) whether the ridership or targeted objectives match projections; and
   6. (f) other information as determined by the grant recipient.
3. (3) The department shall consolidate the reports the department receives under Subsection (1) and, on or before November 1 of each year, provide the consolidated reports to the Transportation Interim Committee.
4. (4) The department and the commission are not responsible for providing performance measures or ensuring proper use of grant funds.
