Accredited representatives of the following organizations are exempt from the provisions of this chapter:
- (1) the department;
- (2) American Legion;
- (3) Veterans of Foreign Wars;
- (4) Disabled American Veterans;
- (5) Vietnam Veterans of America;
- (6) American Veterans (AMVET);
- (7) Military Order of the Purple Heart; and
- (8) other VA recognized service organizations or individuals as determined by the executive director.
