1. (1) A degree-granting institution of higher education provides technical education in the geographic areas of the state described in this section.

2. (2)

   1. (a) The Snow College Richfield campus, described in Section 53H-4-502, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:

      1. (i) the Juab School District;
      2. (ii) the Millard School District;
      3. (iii) the Tintic School District;
      4. (iv) the North Sanpete School District;
      5. (v) the South Sanpete School District;
      6. (vi) the Wayne School District;
      7. (vii) the Piute School District; and
      8. (viii) the Sevier School District.

   2. (b) A Utah State University regional institution, as defined in Section 53H-4-303, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:

      1. (i) for Utah State University Eastern, described in Section 53H-4-303:

         1. (A) the Carbon School District; and
         2. (B) the Emery School District;
      2. (ii) for Utah State University Blanding, described in Section 53H-4-303, the San Juan School District; and
      3. (iii) for Utah State University Moab, described in Section 53H-4-303, the Grand School District.

   3. (c) Salt Lake Community College provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:

      1. (i) the Salt Lake City School District;
      2. (ii) the Granite School District;
      3. (iii) the Murray School District;
      4. (iv) the Canyons School District; and
      5. (v) the Jordan School District.
