1. (1) A permit shall require that:

   1. (a) an operator remain in compliance with all of the permit requirements described in Subsection 40-11-6(3); and
   2. (b) an operator comply with any additional provisions the board imposes.

2. (2) The board may make a permit contingent upon:

   1. (a) the payment of fair compensation to pore space owners who do not consent to the use of the owners' pore space for geologic carbon storage;
   2. (b) the recording of the permit as described in Section 40-11-12; and
   3. (c) additional provisions to protect the environment and the property interests of the parties described in Subsection 40-11-7(4).
