1. (1) On or before the second Friday after the first Monday in November in an odd-numbered year, the lieutenant governor shall:

   1. (a) publish for the state, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for 30 calendar days, the notice described in Subsection (2); and
   2. (b) transmit the notice described in Subsection (2) to each county clerk.

2. (2) The notice required under Subsection (1) shall:

   1. (a) designate the offices to be filled at the next year's regular general election for:

      1. (i) a federal office;
      2. (ii) a statewide constitutional office;
      3. (iii) state senator;
      4. (iv) state representative; and
      5. (v) State Board of Education member;
   2. (b) identify the dates for filing a declaration of candidacy, and for submitting and certifying nomination petition signatures, as applicable, under Sections 20A-9-403, 20A-9-407, and 20A-9-408 for the offices described in Subsection (2)(a);
   3. (c) describe the statewide ballot propositions to be decided by the voters that have qualified for the ballot as of that date; and
   4. (d) designate a webpage that, for each elective office, states the total number of signatures that must be submitted under Subsection 20A-9-403(3)(a)(ii) or 20A-9-408(8), with the necessary calculations made by counting the aggregate number of individuals residing in each elective office's political division who have designated a particular registered political party on the individuals' voter registration forms on or before November 15 of each odd-numbered year.
