1. (1) There is created an Office of the Homeowners' Association Ombudsman in the department.
2. (2) The executive director of the department shall appoint attorneys with background or expertise in community association law to fill legal positions within the office in the department.
3. (3) An individual appointed under this section is an exempt employee.
