1. (1)(a) SNAP provides assistance to eligible individuals in accordance with the requirements found in:

   1. (i) the Food Stamp Act of 1977, 7 USC 2011 through 2036d;

      1. (ii) the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA), Pub. L. 104-193, 110 Stat. 2105 (1996); and
      2. (iii) 7 CFR pt. 271 through 7 CFR pt. 285.

   3. (c) The Department maintains a policy manual describing the benefits and eligibility requirements for receipt of SNAP. The policy manual is available on the Department's web site.

3. (3) Rule R986-100 applies to SNAP except where specifically noted otherwise.
