1. (1) Blades more than eight feet six inches must be equipped with a yellow, rotating beacon warning light.

2. (2) Snowplows with up to 12-foot-wide blades may operate without oversize permits, if they comply with:

   1. (a) lights which provide adequate illumination if the blade is in either up or down position;
   2. (b) signaling lights must not be obscured; and
   3. (c) blades must be angled so that the minimum width is exposed to oncoming traffic during periods of travel between jobs.
