1. (1) The Commissioner, or the Commissioner's designee, may award a one-year USHE Employee Partner Scholarship to an individual employed at a USHE institution for up to 50% of tuition and fees if the employee:

   1. (a) is employed at a USHE institution full-time;
   2. (b) has been admitted to a USHE institution other than the one at which the employee is employed, and has declared intention to enroll; and
   3. (c) intends to pursue a program of study leading to a certificate, degree or other credential related to the employee's current job duties or a related career progression.
