1. (1) Terms used in this rule are found in Section 53-21-101.

2. (2) In addition:

   1. (a) "assessment" means an in-depth clinical interview and ongoing process of information gathering conducted by a licensed mental health therapist to determine if an individual is in need of mental health or substance use disorder treatment and to develop a treatment plan;
   2. (b) "committee" means the Mental Health Resources for First Responders Grant Funding Committee established under this rule; and
   3. (c)"screening" means a preliminary evaluation to determine whether key features of a substance use disorder or mental health disorder are present in an individual.
