1. (1) review timely applications submitted by law enforcement agencies;
2. (2) evaluate each proposal submitted with an application to determine if it meets requirements set forth under Section 17-22-34;

3. (3) approve funding awards equitably to law enforcement agencies that have submitted completed applications for the purchase of approved equipment; and

   1. (d) notify each law enforcement agency that applied of:

      1. (i) the approval or denial of the application for funding; and
      2. (ii) the amount of funding that will be made available to the law enforcement agency for the purchase of equipment.
