1. (1) Light duty trailers or any trailer, regardless of GVWR, used in the capacity of a commercial motor vehicle as defined in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations shall be inspected per procedures found in Rule R714-162, Equipment Standards for Heavy Truck, Trailer and Bus Safety Inspections.

   1. (a) These inspections shall only be performed by personnel certified in Tractor/Trailer/Bus categories.
