1. (1) When a safety inspection station is going out of business, the manager or owner of the station shall:

   1. (a) notify the division of the effective date of the closure at least one week before the date of closure;
   2. (b) discontinue conducting safety inspections on the date of closure; and

   3. (c) within one week after the date of closure, return the following to the division:

      1. (i) the station permit;
      2. (ii) all inspection certificates;
      3. (iii) all stickers; and
      4. (iv) all sticker reports.
2. (2) The division shall cancel online access to the Vehicle Safety Inspection System on the effective date of the station closure.
