1. (1) The course shall include the methodology for creating lesson plans for:

   1. (a) 18 one hour or nine two hour classroom sessions regarding a theoretical approach to driving; and
   2. (b) six one hour or three two hour behind-the-wheel sessions regarding a practical approach to driving.

2. (2) The course manual shall include the following:

   1. (a) syllabus;
   2. (b) introduction;
   3. (c) table of contents;
   4. (d) appendix;
   5. (e) bibliography;
   6. (f) lesson plans;
   7. (g) assignments with answer sheets; and
   8. (h) quizzes and tests with answer sheets.
3. (3) The curriculum shall cover, at a minimum, the subject areas listed in this rule.
4. (4) There shall be a test associated with each unit of study.
5. (5) A copy of the curriculum with textbooks and any videos shall be submitted to the division for approval.
