The division has identified the following documents as acceptable proof of an honorable discharge or general discharge under honorable conditions from the United States military:

1. (1) DD214, certificate of release or discharge of duty;
2. (2) DD256, honorable discharge certificate;
3. (3) DD257, general discharge certificate;
4. (4) NGB22, report of separation and record of service; or
5. (5) other documents approved by the division director or designee.
