1. (1) Terms used in this rule are defined in Section 53-3-102.

2. (2) In addition:

   1. (a) "defensive driving course" means a course sponsored and conducted by a certified designee of the National Safety Council which allows the division to grant a 50 point reduction from the driving records of drivers who successfully complete the course;
   2. (b) "probation" means a division sanction whereby a driver is permitted to drive by complying with certain terms and conditions established by the division.
   3. (c) "provisional license" means a driving privilege issued by the division to a person younger than 21 years of age.
