1. (1) A person may donate protected wildlife or their parts to another person in accordance with Section 23A-1-205.

2. (2) A written statement of donation must be kept with the protected wildlife or parts showing:

   1. (a) the number and species of protected wildlife or parts donated;
   2. (b) the date of donation;
   3. (c) the permit number of the donor and the permanent possession tag number; and
   4. (d) the signature of the donor.
3. (3) A green pelt of any bear donated to another person must have a permanent possession tag affixed.
4. (4) The written statement of donation must be retained with the pelt.
