1. (1) The election officer shall ensure that each signature on the affidavit of each ballot is reviewed in accordance with the verification criteria and considerations. If the signature demonstrates significant conformity to the verification criteria, it should be accepted.
2. (2) The election officer shall ensure that each election worker reviewing ballot affidavit signatures has completed the training required under Subsection 20A-3a-401(13) before reviewing the signatures on any ballot affidavit.
