- (1) "IV-A Assistance" means cash assistance issued per Title IV-A of the Social Security Act. Cash assistance has been called Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Family Employment Program (FEP).
- (2) "Unreimbursed Assistance" means the total lifetime amount of IV-A cash assistance that the state has disbursed to a participating individual's household for which the state or federal government have not been reimbursed by assigned support collections.
