(1) The following may respond to a request for proposal to receive a mental health crisis grant from the Office of Substance Use and Mental Health:
- (a) a community organization that provides a mental health crisis service to individuals and families; or
- (b) a local mental health authority desiring funds to initiate a community mental health crisis or suicide prevention training program.
- (2) Individual grants may not exceed $50,000.
- (3) Grants shall be available to any interested and qualifying organization if money is appropriated by the Legislature for this purpose, and until available funds are fully awarded.
