(1) Immediate relatives who may access medical examiner records are as follows:
- (a) surviving spouse;
- (b) any natural or adoptive parent, regardless of whether the deceased was an adult;
- (c) any full or half sibling;
- (d) any child aged 18 or older;
- (e) any grandparent of a natural or adopted grandchild; or
- (f) any grandchild, whether natural or adopted.
- (2) Immediate relatives have equal access to medical examiner records pursuant to Section 26B-8-217, without preference or priority.
