- (1) Upon updating the birth registration and preparation of a supplementary certificate of birth in accordance with this rule, the state registrar shall place the previous certificate and the evidence upon which the supplementary birth certificate was based in a sealed file.
(2) The sealed file is not subject to inspection, except:
- (a) upon order of a court of competent jurisdiction;
- (b) in compliance with Sections 81-13-103 and 81-13-504; or
- (c) by the state registrar to properly administer the vital statistics program.
