- (1) In accordance with Subsection 80-4-502(2)(d), the hospital that receives a relinquished newborn child shall prepare and file a certificate of live birth or a foundling certificate of live birth with the office.
- (2) Determination that the infant was safely relinquished in compliance with Section 80-4-502 rests with the Division of Child and Family Services.
