- (1) Each cancer specialty hospital licensee shall be able to provide emergency first aid treatment to patients, staff, visitors, and to a person who may be unaware of or unable to immediately reach services in other facilities.
(2) The licensee shall provide the following for emergency services:
- (a) a treatment room;
- (b) storage for supplies and equipment;
- (c) an area for reception and control of patients;
- (d) a convenient patient toilet room; and
- (c) communication access to a poison control center.
- (3) The licensee shall ensure that any additional or expanded emergency services offered comply with the applicable subsections of R432-100-18.
