- (1) For a hospital that does not file a Medicare cost report for the time frames outlined in Section 26B-3-507, the Division of Integrated Healthcare (DIH) shall audit the hospital's records to determine the correct discharges for the assessment.
- (2) A hospital subject to the assessment shall make its records available for reasonable inspection upon written request from DIH. DIH shall consider a hospital that fails to make its records available to be non-compliant, and subject to the penalties set forth in Section R414-517-6.
