1. (1) Medicaid provides doula services to an eligible Medicaid member during the member's pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. These services include:

   1. (a) non-medical advice;
   2. (b) information;
   3. (c) emotional support; and
   4. (d) physical comfort.
2. (2) Medicaid does not cover travel time and mileage to obtain doula services.
